Chef-Founder
Chef Manav Tuli draws from a wealth of experience over the past 18 years in some of the finest kitchens of London, India, and Hong Kong. Starting his career in Kerala, he gained knowledge of southern Indian culture and cuisine. He then honed his skills at The Oberoi in Rajasthan, adapting to the region's unique Indian cuisine due to its dry climate. After exploring international cuisines in Mauritius, he settled in London, where he climbed the culinary ladder, working at the legendary restaurants like Chutney Mary and Tamarind of Mayfair (the first Indian restaurant to receive a Michelin Star). Manav's most recent achievement was serving as the Chef de Cuisine of CHAAT at Rosewood Hong Kong, where his exceptional guidance led to the restaurant earning One MICHELIN star. He remains connected to his roots, dedicating his free time to learning about ancient Indian scriptures and mythology. -

Having previously collaborated closely with Chef Manav before Leela’s opening, James possesses an innate understanding of our culinary vision. He now works hand in hand with Chef Manav and our team to ensure the delivery of impeccable service and an unparalleled dining experience, striving to exceed our guests’ expectations.
